DO NOT USE this service. Only use this if you want a service that is unreliable and rude. I have never bothered to write a google review before, but I am so angry about this interaction that I have been compelled to do so this time. I just rang up A1 and I have never been spoken to so rudely by a taxi service provider (and I use a lot of taxis in my job as a Consultant) and I have lived in Leamington my whole life. My mum tried to use the service on my recommendation to get to the hospital to see my dad (initially in A&E and then in a ward) over the last two days as her car is out of action. The taxi service did not listen to the correct address number - a number that my mum has lived at for forty years. Because they did not listen, they turned up at the wrong address. I rang up to book another taxi today, and the taxi service refused to send one because he had misheard the address the original time around and had said his taxi had had to be returned so he would not re-book another taxi. He didn't even give me a chance to speak but instead spoke at me in an aggressive tone - I am actually shocked. Lack of empathy, patience, listening and good customer service is frankly appalling, not to mention the mansplaining. There are plenty of other taxi services in this town and you would be better to use them. DO NOT USE.

The communication leading up to the trip was exceptional. Both drivers were very professional, friendly and punctual. The trip itself went without a hitch and I was very happy. I've knocked off two stars because we agreed a price over text in advance of the journey (£16 there, £21 back) but I was charged more on the night. The first driver - the man I agreed the price with - charged me £20 and the return driver charged me £22.80 having turned the meter on, despite me agreeing a fixed price in advance. It is disappointing that they went back on our agreement when the rest of the experience was so good.

My sister and I used this service 3 times over 2 days with different drivers each time. They were friendly, helpful, patient and on time :) the cars were clean, the ride was smooth and the prices were very reasonable! Couldn't recommend highly enough, took a lot of stress out of our trip!
