Alpine Recovery Lodge completely changed my life. When I first arrived, I was broken, lost, and trapped in addiction. I didn’t believe I could ever be sober or truly happy again. But through their caring staff, therapy sessions, and structured daily routine, I began to heal. The detox program helped me safely break free from the physical hold of drugs, and the one-on-one counseling helped me face the emotional pain I had buried for years. Group therapy taught me I wasn’t alone, and the peaceful mountain setting gave me a sense of calm I hadn’t felt in a long time. Activities like meditation, yoga, and hiking helped me reconnect with myself and find strength in healthy ways. Today, I’m not the same person I was when I walked through those doors. I’m sober, hopeful, and finally proud of the person I’ve become—all thanks to Alpine Recovery Lodge.

The decision to enter treatment was something I knew I had to make and choosing Alpine Recovery Lodge for help was life changing. It is an amazing place and I have a new outlook on how I plan on living. The care, love and support that I received from every staff member was truly exceptional. The lodge is quiet, roomy and comfortable. The balance between living there and also learning there was incredible. Being able to attend meetings in the evenings or in-house speaker meetings really helped with a better understanding of the steps of recovery. The trips to FTR and the rec center to exercise was nice as well. Being allowed to have friends and family visit on Sunday afternoons for a few hours was a great bonus. Peter is a great therapist and really made me think hard about a lot of things from the past, present and future. I felt like we had some really great one on one sessions. The work was not easy and at times uncomfortable, but was necessary to do. The process groups with him, Kelli or Ami were very helpful to me. Getting feedback from the therapist and also from others in the group helped me see different views to different issues and find ways to get through them. Heather does an awesome job being the case manager for the clients. She is patient, caring and listens to your concerns or questions. Her guidance in the process from day one showed me that she wanted the best out of my time there and that my sobriety was important. Laura is a great House Manager. She is kind, intelligent and well informed. You can tell she takes pride in her job and will always make time for you. That is something I really appreciate. Jane has to be the most caring and thoughtful nurse that I have ever had. Her attention to the health and wellbeing of every client stood out. She went out of her way, stayed late and even worked on a Sunday when I needed her help. There is one person that I think everyone that has spent time at Alpine will always be thankful for and that is the chef, Darren. He makes everyone feel at home and makes the best food day in and day out. He also takes special care to make sure any food allergies are addressed. The way he runs his kitchen is second to none! The mentors that stayed each night and on the weekends are some of the best people I have ever met. Not only did they treat you as an equal, but gave some of the best advice for my future. I will miss them all and consider them friends that I hope to see again! Thank you all so much!! Overall, my experience was incredible and I learned so many valuable tools and skills to help in my sobriety. Going to Alpine is hands down the best decision I have ever made for myself. The staff and clinicians truly care about the client's well being. I have never left a treatment center truly believing that the work has paid off and I am moving forward in a positive direction, until now. Alpine has helped me create a new beginning and have a life worth living where I am not just struggling to survive day to day. The skills they taught me including DBT, CBT, and helping me get in touch with my spiritual side are useful and I am excited to see where this new chapter in life will take me.
