Loved the food there, every single dish tasted amazing though the portions of some dishes seemed a little small. The steak’s honestly better than most steaks I’ve had in London. The cocktails felt a bit more basic in comparison to the food. Was rushed out at the end as they had loads of back to back bookings, but will definitely go back again just for the food.

This place is incredible. Seriously amazing. The food is fantastic. We had the steak tartare, the scallops, steak and chips and the mussels and clams. It was all so so delicious but I have to mention to chips cos they were the best chips I ate in my 49 years on this planet. Go there just for the chips and be astounded by the rest of the food. The profiterole for dessert was a sweet and salty delight. Cocktails were A star and the service impeccable. I dropped my napkin and did not notice and one of the Ladies picked it up and handed me a clean one. The staff are also are so knowledgeable about their food. Its like a Michelin starred experience but without the excessive price. Go there. It will make you happy.

I live very close to Belly and had been meaning to try it for a while, so I finally visited with some friends, and it absolutely lived up to expectations. For drinks, we went with their house white (Jumi-Juma), which was perfect for a particularly hot day. We shared 3x starters, 3x mains, and a few sides between us. To start, the Steak tartare with salt-and-pepper crisps was excellent, the crisps were thick-cut, clearly homemade, and added great texture. The Trout Kinilaw was fresh, bright, and wonderfully citrusy. My standout starter, though, was the Smoked aubergine Bagoong: rich, earthy, and deeply smoky without being overpowering. A definite must-try. The mains were the highlight of the night - all three dishes were outstanding. The Woodland mushroom “arroz caldo” reminded me of a Spanish “ arroz con boletus”, beautifully cooked rice with an intense, savoury mushroom flavour. The Oak-smoked “tinola” herb chicken was one of our group’s favourite dishes: juicy, packed with flavour, and with a subtle grilled flavour we loved. The seafood “caldereta” was my personal favourite—rich, perfectly balanced, and full of flavour, with just the right level of heat. We even ordered extra beef fat fries to soak up the sauces from the caldereta and chicken—completely worth it. Moments like that made me miss being in Spain, where there would always be bread on hand to “rebañar” (mop up) every last bit. To top it all off, the service was exceptional—from the attentive maître to the owner, who came over to check on us personally. I couldn’t recommend Belly more, and I feel very lucky to have it on my doorstep.
