Coming to Avant media institute was a life changing experience for me. Having being a non-traditional student senior citizen. I didn't know anything about how music is recorded and mixed Through this course I've learned about all of that and then some post production. I would recommend this program to anyone who would like to gain knowledge about music and the business of music.
Going to Avant was one of the best decisions I’ve made in my career. I came in not knowing much & now I feel more confident when I walk into a studio or on a stage. They make sure to give you tons of hands on experience (taking you to all types of studios around Houston). They also have multiple industry standard studios to record in, practice, or even host your own clients. The cherry on top though were the connections I made. I’ve met lifelong friends & peers. 10/10 would recommend this school to anyone pursuing a career in music!
My experience at Avant Media Institute has helped me grow both personally and professionally while pursuing my passion for audio and media production. The hands-on learning environment gave me the opportunity to gain experience in recording, live sound, and working on creative projects. I enjoyed learning from instructors who brought real industry knowledge into the classroom and challenged me to improve my skills. Throughout the program, I developed greater confidence in my abilities and gained a better understanding of what it takes to succeed in the entertainment industry. I am thankful for the experiences, friendships, and knowledge I gained during my time at Avant Media Institute, and I look forward to applying what I have learned in my future career.
