I first saw the advertisement for blessings braids in IG. I scheduled an appointment because I was desperate need to have my hair braided. I made my appointment yesterday and was able to come in the next day. I was greeted by Agatha and she was very pleasant, we discussed my wishes for my hair and she gave me recommendations. I reminded her that I was tenderheaded and she made sure not to pull too tight. She braided half my hair and then Love tapped in to finish it off. I reminded Love that I was tender headed and she did a great job at making sure I was good the whole time up until completion.I love my bora bora braids. I will definitely be back.

I very tendered- headed and reached out to Blessings because they work with people with sensitive scalps. Booking was a breeze. I found out later I had a scheduling conflict. When I called to reschedule my appointment, they took me that day! I walked out with small waist-length knotless in 3 hours. Fun fact...I fell asleep in the chair while getting serviced! Thats how gentle they were with me. Will definitely be back!

First time client, I wasn’t able to catch my braiders name but she was always smiling and laughing which is good energy to give off . My braids were VERY neat and not heavy at all for the amount of braids I had on my head , nor is she heavy handed with braiding, very gentle but don’t worry she still gone have everything snatched up 😂. The only thing I will say is double check the price with them because the website has a price but in the salon they want to charge a different price, so I would call to confirm. Also this is more a ME thing (nothing against blessing) , no matter where I have gone whether that be Arizona, San Diego and even a previous LA African braiding shop location prior to trying this shop , I’m always out more times than not under 4 hours and if it’s a solo braider under the 6 hrs mark (when they market a 4-6 hour window) . I got there at 7am, didn’t leave until after 3pm, which is really not that bad considering and once again the braids ARE NEAT AND LIGHT , just saying more of a heads up on the time frame online also may not be as accurate so call and double check to prevent being late or missing other plans after getting your hair done. I do plan on returning for more styles in the future.
