We stayed at Green Casa for over 3 weeks while undertaking a placement in the area. The hosts welcomed us and were extremely accommodating throughout our stay. The place was clean and well looked after, and exactly as described. Mohan was excellent, and made us feel very well looked after, always helping us with transport and making sure we were safe. He is an excellent chef and made us some of the best food we had in Sri Lanka! The house is well situated, walkable distance to a shop, short 5 minute tuk tuk to the beach, and 10 mins to the city centre. Thank you to the whole team. We would definitely recommend and will return.

Our family, including my parents and my sister's family, stayed at Green Casa over the last weekend of June, and overall we had a very pleasant experience. On arrival, the caretaker promptly opened the gate after we honked once, so there was no waiting time. He was friendly, helped us with our luggage, and showed us around the rooms. The property itself was clean and well maintained for a colonial-style villa, which we understand requires significant effort to upkeep. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, with no issues such as insects inside. The pool was also very clean for a small private property pool, and we had no concerns at all in that regard. Breakfast was excellent, well prepared and served on time according to our request. At the time of our departure, the property owner personally came to meet us, which was a very pleasant surprise. He was a kind gentleman, and it was a pleasure speaking with him. He also took the time to share the history of how the property was developed into its current form. The location is also very convenient, with Galle Fort being close by and easily accessible by tuk-tuk. One minor point to note is that there were mosquitoes in the evening, which is understandable given the open garden-style colonial layout in Galle. This is quite common in similar properties in the area. Overall, it is a well-maintained property and is ideal for families or small groups. It may be slightly less suitable for families with very young children if mosquitoes are a concern. We would highly recommend Green Casa and would be happy to visit again.

Very clean place. Nice architectural design. Just about 1.5 km to galle fort. Very relaxing with good food and service. Ideal for families with young kids!
