Britt is a Chicago treasure, and Bryn Mawr Jewelry Co is a literal gem. I am so glad we found you! We first came here looking for an engagement ring while shopping around at different spots in Chicago. Before we found Bryn Mawr, we experienced a lot of smarmy, pushy, and impersonal salespeople and ring stores, especially in the diamond district. Finding an independent store with the most patient, creative, and down-to-earth Britt was a godsend. She helped us try different styles, cuts, and layouts until we knew exactly what we wanted, then we worked with her to design the ring. The design process was easy, and each step was smooth, be it the CAD review, the wax ring print, or the parts after that I was looped out of for the fun of the engagement.
My engagement ring turned out beyond gorgeous, and I will never get tired of looking at it.
We designed my husband's engagement ring here as well, and that process was a breeze. Since then, we have found some really amazing treasures here. I'm a yellow gold gal who loves turquoise and that combo isn't very common, yet my husband worked with Britt to find a pair of earrings with exactly that combo! We also found a watch that matched my husband's wedding tux to a tee, it was like destiny.
Both of our wedding bands came from here, and Britt was so transparent about the roller coaster that gold pricing has been on this year, which was really helpful for us in that process. She constantly takes care of us, makes sure we understand the care and keeping of our jewelry, and we know she has our back.
Britt helped my husband find a funky gorgeous vintage ring for me, and it happened to have my late grandmother's birthstone in it, which neither of them knew. It was a gift on our wedding day, and I was so shocked! Beyond lovely.
The team has also cleaned our jewelry every time we walk by, even cleaning some of my MIL's jewelry that wasn't from Bryn Mawr.
