We couldn’t be happier with our new kitchen and butler’s pantry designed and installed by David Shay at Metro Cabinet Company! David took the time to really understand what we wanted and created a beautiful, functional layout featuring two kitchen islands finished in a stunning Robin’s egg blue. The color is even better in person—it brings such a fresh, cheerful energy to the whole space and has become the true centerpiece of our kitchen. From the initial design consultations through final installation, the process was smooth and professional. David was responsive, detail-oriented, and offered great guidance on everything from layout and storage to finishes. The cabinet quality is excellent, and Austin the carpenter/installer was clean and respectful of our home with minimal disruption. Our kitchen and butler’s pantry are not only gorgeous but incredibly practical, with plenty of workspace and storage thanks to the dual islands. We’ve already received so many compliments from family and friends. If you’re looking for a talented kitchen designer who listens, delivers on vision, and produces high-quality results, we highly recommend David Shay and Metro Cabinet Company. Thank you for helping us create the kitchen we’ve always wanted!

I have worked with David Shay at Metro cabinets on two projects. David designed my kitchen and bathrooms when I did a renovation of my condo. He subsequently designed built-in storage cabinetry in my master bedroom. David listened to my requirements, gave creative solutions to my issues and worked within my budgets on each projects. His designs exceeded my expectations. To this day, my guests frequently comment on how much they like my cabinets and the storage solutions they provide.
I choose Metro Cabinet Company for my Kitchen remodel because I felt they were professional knowledgeable and offered reasonable pricing. They did not fail to deliver. From design of the Cafe series cabinets emerged that mid-century look that the owner personally recommended at the time, I was offered three different designs, but instead choose them all! Upper cabinets are Vanilla 20 sheen, while my lower cabinets are Slate Blue and another section of my Kitchen that holds my cookbooks is the color ANEW Gray with Umber light brush glaze 20 sheen. This was strategically designed personally by the owner who worked effortlessly insuring every detail was accurate inside the cabinets and out from Intricate shelf storage to utensil organizers and built in cutting boards. I am very very pleased with my Kitchen renovation.
