While the Cameron Group was established in 2016, the promoters and management team bring more than 50 years of combined experience in metal recycling, commodity trading and the international metals industry, with roots in the recycling business going back to 1985. Cameron operates across the recycling value chain, from sourcing and processing of secondary raw materials to the production and international marketing of recycled metals. The Group also has a lead-acid battery recycling operation in Africa, producing recycled materials that are accepted by leading industrial customers and established industry players. With its head office in Malaysia and operating presence across the UAE, India and the African subcontinent, Cameron is positioned to connect international sources of recyclable metals with established industrial consumers across Asia, the Middle East and other global markets. The Group works closely with suppliers, processors, manufacturers and industrial customers as a sustainability partner, helping convert industrial and post-consumer metal waste into commercially valuable secondary raw materials while supporting the circular economy.
