We are really happy with our custom sofas and ottomans and wanted to share our experience. There was an issue with the cushion filling when they were first delivered, but the owner Gaurav dealt with it quickly and professionally. More importantly, he never made us feel like we were being difficult or asking for too much. He acknowledged the problem, explained how he was going to fix it, kept us updated and followed through on everything he promised. What stood out to us was how much he genuinely cared about making things right. It felt like our satisfaction was more important to him than simply closing the sale, which is something you don't see very often anymore. We absolutely love the furniture. The quality of the Paloma sofas and ottomans are excellent, the fabric - Thrive Alabaster, is durable and machine washable and the customization options were exactly what we needed. We ordered two 90-inch sofas that would give us lots of seating in a relatively small open-concept room. At the same time, we needed deeper seats for our taller family members, while keeping the back height to 27 inches so the sofas would work with our existing console tables. Being able to customize those details made all the difference. Mistakes can happen with any product. What matters is how a company responds and this company responded the right way. They stood behind their work and made sure we were happy with the final result. We wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again and would definitely recommend them to anyone considering custom furniture.

We love our couch from Candace and Basil! We got the Stanton 2 x 2 with the Oakland milk fabric and medium firmness. Note that it was quite firm at the beginning but has softened up over the weeks and has been holding up really well. The delivery was as per timelines and the customer service was helpful. Anna was great and answered any questions we had. Highly recommend this location if you are in Toronto to go test them out and see what you like!

We purchased the Apsley and a Santana platform bed from Candace and Basil. Our experience was great, Anna was extremely helpful pointing out the differences in the beds, assisting with fabric selection and placing our order. We have since received our beds, the quality and design is beautiful! On a side note, their delivery service was efficient and communicated the delivery date and time. We would highly recommend Candace and Basil!
