I went to Fringe Adelaide and tried the pork humba and the spring rolls from Cebu Soul Taste of Philippines. I love Filipino food, so I was really looking forward to it, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. I paid $26 for the pork humba and $20 for the spring rolls with fries, and the food didn’t meet my expectations. The flavors didn’t taste authentic and the quality felt more like frozen, reheated food rather than freshly prepared dishes. For the price, I expected something much better and more reflective of real Filipino cooking. Sadly, it wasn’t worth what I paid.
