I decided to get my fsports touched up with tint and ceramic coat. The detail was awesome. The customer service was even better. They listened to my needs and what I wanted in the product. Carefully meeting my needs. I even had questions about some tint issues and went above and beyond to get that resolved. Ed followed up with me personally to check on me after the work. Which is awesome when it comes to customer service. If you do a tour you will see the high end cars people bring to let them do the work which means alot. Especially if they spending that much money on they vehicle. I recommend them highly ...

I brought my Gen-6 4Runner TRD Off-Road to Champion for PPF coating, 5 year ceramic coating, and OEM tint match - the level of professionalism from the Champion team is of the highest level, beating out any other car shop I’ve used!! At every step, from quoting to completion I was offered time and patience to ask questions; whether related to costing, installation time frame, or process of execution. They guided me in different solutions I needed and better yet ones I did not need, proving to me that they don’t push products just to make a sale. I am overly impressed, and will bring our other vehicle in for assessment; not to mention the long term value the ceramic and PPF products have brought to my truck.
⭐ 1 STAR — I spent $1,738 plus a $50 deposit and tax at Champion for PPF on my 2024 Subaru Crosstrek and tint on two side windows. I chose Champion largely because of the quality they advertise, including edge-to-edge coverage. Four weeks after my July 3 installation, the bumper PPF was already peeling. I returned expecting Champion to stand behind the work. Instead I received shifting explanations for why the failure wasn’t their responsibility: my “upkeep,” my 90-mile daily interstate commute, failure to return for a follow-up, contamination, and vehicle “damage.” The bumper PPF was already visibly peeling BEFORE the car-wash visit Champion now blames in its response, which my photos document. At pickup, I also pointed out a small area of PPF already lifting at a corner of the hood. I was told it was normal curing and would resolve. It did not; that same spot remained as it was at pickup, as documented in my photo. Mike told me I should have scheduled a TWO-WEEK follow-up myself and that because I hadn’t, they could no longer manipulate the film as they could have at two weeks. Champion’s owner now says it was a required SEVEN-DAY inspection. Champion’s own website identifies Legend PPF as the product installed on my vehicle. I found no 7- or 14-day inspection requirement anywhere in Legend’s published warranty stating that missing one voids warranty coverage for peeling or improper installation. While I was there, Mike began cutting away peeling film, leaving portions of my bumper exposed. I objected that this wasn’t the edge-to-edge coverage I paid for. I was then told edge-to-edge couldn’t be performed because the bumper was too contaminated to adhere and there was too much “damage.” Champion’s owner now claims they advised me against PPF because of existing damage and I insisted they proceed. That is not what happened. Our discussion concerned existing nicks/dings and my dissatisfaction with the paint-pen touch-up. I was told repainting was an option if I wanted those cosmetic imperfections corrected — not that my vehicle was unsuitable for PPF or that Champion couldn’t properly install it. Had I been told that, I would not have paid them to install PPF. Mike proposed removing the bumper PPF and refunding it. I did not demand this; I objected to watching peeling film being cut away and my bumper left partially exposed. Later, when I asked why Champion hadn’t offered to redo the installation, Mike claimed removal/refund was my demand. It wasn’t. He then compared my Crosstrek to Porsches and other luxury vehicles Champion regularly services, again pointing to my vehicle as the problem. He said, “Lynn, I’m just trying to get your money back to you now.” I asked, “So you’re refusing to redo the work?” He said yes. Champion refunded $550. I requested an itemized receipt for the bumper, hood, headlight and tint. Champion did not provide one; I was simply told $550 was the bumper charge. Champion advertises a 10-year PPF warranty. Its own materials describe surface preparation/decontamination as necessary for adhesion and advertise PPF for commuters and daily drivers. Yet when mine peeled within four weeks, I was blamed for my driving, upkeep, vehicle, and a follow-up requirement that Champion itself now describes differently than I was told in person. The owner’s account of my conduct is false. There was one customer present, not three, and he asked if I was okay. The conduct described in the owner’s response did not occur. I welcome preservation of the complete, unedited camera footage he referenced. Based on my experience, Champion did not stand behind this installation. I would not trust them with another vehicle or recommend them for PPF.
