We used Conservatech to convert our conservatory into a liveable space (not too hot in the summer and cold in the winter) and to fit new window. They not only were the only company that offered exactly what we wanted, but Allan was really thorough in talking through plans and ready to answer any questions we had. They were helpful and worked around our other building work we were having done. The payment schedule and process was really clear. The work started and the builders turned up when they were meant to, worked all day and tried to limit the disturbance to us as a family as much as possible. They were considerate of my children's additional needs and respectful of our property at all times. They clearly communicated what they were doing, and despite saying they preferred my husband's cups of tea we were really happy with the work they completed. There were a few issues (e.g. with their plumber's availability) but they worked with me to find a solution. They also were available to answer the phone if I had any queries. We were very happy with the work of external trades (plasterer and electrician). Phil, the electrician was able to help with other building work we were having done. This allowed consistency and we were really happy with the work he completed. He was extremely accommodating and made sure we got what we wanted. The work was completed 4 months ago and we are still extremely happy with the space. It has transformed our living space.
Outstanding service, real people who care, and a door that’s absolutely perfect! These days, most door installers expect you to use an online design tool — you create your own door, submit it, get a quote, and hope for the best six weeks later. I’m quite IT-savvy and like to be independent, but when it comes to something as important as a front door, I needed to be 100% sure I was getting exactly what I wanted, with proper advice from a professional who actually cares. I requested around seven quotes and did seven designs — yet with most companies I was only about 60% sure how the final door would look and function, which isn’t good enough for me. Only two installers were willing to visit in person, and Conserv-A-Tech stood out immediately. Allan was incredibly thorough, walking me through every single detail — from style to security — and his knowledge and patience were so reassuring. After that visit, I knew Conserv-A-Tech was the right choice. Eric, the owner, then came to do the final measurements himself, making sure everything would fit perfectly. And when installation day came, Leon and Stewart did a fantastic job — they were professional, kind, and efficient, fitting the door beautifully despite heavy snow and rain - all in record time! Price-wise, Conserv-A-Tech are very competitive, but their level of customer service and care puts them miles ahead of the competition. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.
