We stayed 3 nights at this location. The morning of the check out date, I received the bill from email detail. After I got home, a revised bill sent to my email with additional Restaurant Room Charges on the day of our checking out. We didn't order food at the hotel restaurants during the stay other than getting coffee which I paid with credit card immediately. I tried to call the hotel, but was put on hold forever. I never had bill problem with previous stays with any hotels. So, I was not careful this time to make sure get a final bill at the front desk this time. OK, I'll take the lost this time, but won't book with Marriott anymore.

I did alot of contemplation before I decided to post about my experience with this property. I checked into this hotel October of 2026. I paid for a corner King Suite i can't remember exactly how many days but I believe it was probably about 4 days. I paid best available rate before. I was approved for funding through the Housing association here in DC. We had a fire at our condo.not too far from the hotel... I was in a frenzy state mentality and tried to keep everything together. Anyone dealing with a fire and the affects of it affecting others- your neighbors, could relate. I held my composure through the whole ordeal... I was treated harshly by the management and the police whom they decided to call and put me and my dog out... Packing my things in trash bags and telling me I had to find other accommodations...naturally one in this situation would be irate. I popped a little attitude but of course I was shocked at what I was seeing happening and how I was being spoken to...like I was a common criminal.( I didn't threaten nor did I get to my full angry mode...but I was MAD!) (I was not in my best mind per say but I tried to make the best of things...for my dog and I) ** she joined me about a week later in the hotel room after the fire. I worked in hospitality before so I empathized with the housekeepers and tried to establish some kind of communication. (Dirty towels, dirty sheets together, I wanted to make their job as easy as possible) I stayed mostly to myself...and went about my own wind...(some people don't understand this and view essentrical mannerisms as... "crazy") I was a bit to essentrict for this courtyard by Marriott and "my kind" wasn't wanted. EXAMPLES The staff lied about having a bell cart at front entrance and I came downstairs...they were right there! (Smh) I walked down to the front desk...the front desk agent ignored me, for no reason, I stood and waited and waited and waited....a woman behind me a bit more "classy", and elegant in her manners proceeded forth...she was helped before I was even acknowledged. The police when they arrived were the same police I dealt with when my partner and I had our house and were dealing with squatters (WARD 7)...these officers never arrested the guy whom was causing trouble for us and others...even after assaulting people. (It's in the past I know) This really hurt to witness and I went on ahead verbally aggressively (tried not to curse) RME...DID as they asked as they threw my things in trash bags and my dog stood by confused. We were escorted outside and had to seat off property. I left $20 for the housekeeper...I also left a love fern i had bought for my partner and I...(it was a symbolic notion towards the ominous feeling I had in my gut and foreseen...everything else that happened after...) Things could have been handled differently. I love everything about this property but a bit of reschooling on hospitality could be incorporated. I spent over $2000.00 in 4 days...smh. I NEEDED a place to be human and and gather my emotions... This wasn't a pleasant stay. It took me a while to post this because I wanted to think about what I possibly did wrong... SMH...
