Without these peer coaches I don’t know where I would be today! Lisa is amazing and so resourceful. Marcus has been there for me as well, and his words of wisdom and encouragement have helped me keep going as well! Thank you to both of them

If it had not been for creating connections, I don’t think I would’ve ever been able to restore my life back to where I am today. The great staff members here helped me rehabilitate back into regular life after experience, homelessness and drug addict addict addiction I was addicted to methamphetamine for 15 years had to fight all my life to get off of it until I met Lisa. She was truly a guiding light. Thanks to her, reminding me of all that I can be in life and seeing the good in me after everyone could only see the bad all my mistakes I was able to finally secure a good job and stable housing. If you’re struggling in life, I recommend looking into creating connections.

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally lodge a serious complaint regarding the unprofessional conduct, lack of accountability, and discriminatory treatment demonstrated by one of your peer support providers, Marcus Hanson. On Monday, Marcus explicitly committed to providing my family with transportation to a food pantry. At his request, we rescheduled the trip to Friday at 1:00 PM to accommodate his schedule. Marcus completely failed to show up for this confirmed appointment, leaving my son and me stranded. He provided no advance notice, no text, and no communication that he would be missing it, failing to notify us of any "incident" until the following day. When I reached out for clarity as to why he missed the appointment, Marcus responded by selectively invoking agency policy, claiming that transportation is beyond the scope of his agency and is provided only at his personal discretion. Marcus's defense is entirely contradictory to his established pattern of service. He has a documented history of providing this exact transportation support; he has previously driven me, Autumn, and other clients to the food bank without issue. His sudden refusal to assist my son demonstrates a clear personal bias and a failure to provide equitable care. Furthermore, Marcus completely failed to assist Autumn in finding housing either before or after her eviction, which directly caused her to end up stranded on my family. Despite this failure to provide core housing support, he has consistently given Autumn rides several times, even on occasions when she brought absolutely nothing home. Yet, he deliberately chose to freeze out my son and leave us without a way to secure the food resources we genuinely need. It is entirely unacceptable for a professional peer support provider to selectively enforce agency guidelines to favor one individual while actively neglecting another's family, and then retroactively use policy as a shield to excuse a failure of basic communication. If transportation was truly out of scope, he had a professional obligation to inform me on Monday when the plan was made, not use it as an excuse after failing to show up on Friday. This behavior directly undermines the core mission, trust, and reliability your organization is supposed to stand for. I am requesting an immediate internal review of Marcus Hanson’s conduct, his pattern of selective assistance, and his failure to meet professional communication standards. I expect a prompt response detailing how this matter will be addressed.
