Hazardous, Unprofessional, and Predatory – Avoid at All Costs • Predatory Sales Tactics: When mold was discovered, their specialist (Rudy) used fear-based manipulation, asking me, "Do you want your family to die?" to push an $18k quote. Who does that? They use a "balloon and discount" pricing strategy that felt dishonest and psychological. • Zero Project Management: Our PM, Jacob, was essentially a salesman with a title. He rarely visited the site, leading to constant re-work and a lack of oversight. I had to manage the project myself to ensure anything got done. • Incompetent Design: We were sold a pantry design that was non-functional and cramped. When we raised concerns, Jacob blamed us for "approving the design" instead of acting as a professional advisor who should have flagged measurement issues. • Safety Negligence: A sliding door—a primary safety concern for my kids and dog—was ignored for months. When they finally addressed it, they claimed the size "didn't exist" and tried to abandon the task. The final French door installation was a "hack job" that they blamed on my house being "crooked," despite the previous door being perfectly straight. They do not plan, they do not advise, and they do not take responsibility. If you value your health, your home, and your wallet, stay far away.
At the end of February I contacted Creative Design & Build and made an appointment with Guy Gabay to come and discuss my plans to update my kitchen and two bathrooms. Demolition began the first of March and the renovations began immediately after that. The quartz countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms are absolutely dazzling. The crew also enclosed an alcove to create a walk-in pantry for me which I love. In addition, they updated the countertops and cabinets in two bathrooms. Every step of the way Guy has been helpful, accommodating and informative. The workmanship is of the highest quality and I have been so impressed with the level of performance, professionalism, and knowledge. When I moved into this house in August of last year my number one priority was to redo the kitchen, and Creative Design has made that a reality. My new kitchen has exceeded all my expectations.
