I chose to go with DRM for compounded semaglutide as I was not satisfied with the professionalism or the safety of the medication from online “groups”. I spoke to a doctor, went over my history and future plans and started on the program. The doctor told me that it did not matter the amount of medication I was prescribed, that it was the same cost per month while losing weight or on maintenance. I established a rapport with the doctor and told him I was currently on 40 units but anticipated going up to at least 50 or maybe 60 units weekly. He told me that would not be a problem and we agreed that I would start at 20 units and increase the dosage by 5 units per week until I saw results. The doctor checked in with me monthly to answer any questions I had and it was not until I got to 60 units that I saw any results which was fine with me as I had been on semaglutide for an extended time and I was aware the dosage might have to be increased for it to be effective. The doctor had informed me that if I did not see results from 60 units he would recommend switching to tirzepatide for a few months to have the results I wanted. He informed me it would have a higher cost and I agreed that if we did not see results with 60 units we would switch to the other medication. A week later I requested another refill and was then called by Ty who told me that I should have enough medication to last another 7 weeks and he was very surprised that the doctor had approved me going up to 60 units and told me I was still suppose to be on 25 units and they would not send me more medication as they would lose money. The communication between the doctor and Ty apparently leaves something to be desired. The doctor may not be aware of the financial ramifications of 60 units to DRM but I can tell you that is all Ty thinks about. He was derisive to me and treated me with a less than professional attitude. Ty asked me to copy “the whole group” at his office as though I would know who “the whole group” is and derided me for not knowing who "the whole group" was. Ty also told me it was a black and white issue which I would disagree with as the doctor had approved my dosage at 60 units and the only concern of Ty was financial. Dr. approved, Ty didn’t…not so black and white. I am disappointed not in the quality of care but in the money aspect. If I had been approached differently I might still be a patient but I believe the owners need to manage the clinic and not Ty. I was made to feel that Ty was very smart and I am very stupid…and maybe I am for believing what I was told when I started their program.

Denver Regenerative Medicine has been fantastic. I recently started GLP-1 treatment and feel extremely comfortable due to their thorough orientation to the med, how to give it, and what to expect. They have quickly answered any questions I have. I feel reassured knowing that I get to work with them.
