This company asks parents to pay on account but yet children are continually being served inapropriate substitutions or poor servings when they don’t provide enough portions, good examples are a plate of rice and cheese as an alternative to a jacket potato. I’m not sure what nutritional value there is in that for a growing child. Given I pay on account I expect the meal I have paid for and the company needs a strategy in place for those that have not ordered so that if another child is given the portion other children still receive what you have ordered ( and paid for!!!!) I’ve emailed twice to raise this concern and to date I’ve never had a reply. Really poor customer service all round and hungry children. They replied and I’ve attached the photo below. Crazy to think that they believe cheese and rice is an alternative…oh and schools paying thousands for the booking system (it makes no difference anyway)!

Complaint - All food is disgusting, cold and overcooked. Do you monitor temperature control. Menus are not consistent with online ordering menu and things get changed at last minute. There have been lots of complaints about the food from teachers also. Dolce food hasn't got a great reputation and it is declining more. Roast chicken dry and overcooked. Jacket potato rock hard and burnt, cold beans and potato. Parents are wasting there money.

We’ve been using Dolce at Kiveton Park Infant School for several years, and are really happy with the meals provided and the service we receive. The team are quick to deal with a queries or complaints we have, and are keen to work with us to make things right. The food is fresh and well cooked, and the children really enjoy it
