Richard came to do our energy check and he did an excellent job! He was very courteous, knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. He gave very practical and helpful suggestions and tips. He went above and beyond to explain and make sure I understood how to he more energy efficient. I highly recommend him and this service to anyone looking to be more energy efficient and to save money on their utility bill.
Richard from Elysian Energy completed our BGE Home Energy Audit and did an excellent job. He was thorough, professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain what he was finding throughout the visit. He identified several areas where our home was losing energy, including air leaks around the foundation, cracked foam around our newer AC installation, leaking HVAC ductwork, and our old 1950s-style whole-house fan. He also spotted two basement windows where the insulated glass seals had failed. What impressed me was that he didn’t just make recommendations. Richard **supplied six LED bulbs at no cost** and **supplied and installed additional weather stripping on our front door at no cost**. He also left us an additional roll for our mudroom door. He made several other practical recommendations and kindly arranged the next step for us by ordering a more comprehensive Home Performance Audit. A very worthwhile experience. Richard was extremely helpful, and I would absolutely recommend him and the BGE Home Energy Audit program.
This guy is good! I've performed or overseen a lot of home repair over the years and I know a good tradesman when I work with one. No BS here. Highly knowledgeable. He hunkered down and got the job done, to highest standards.
