I hired Emerald State for my siding and painting project, and from the moment I signed the contract, Jim made me feel confident in my choice. He welcomed me by saying, “Welcome to the Emerald State family,” and he lived up to those words throughout the entire process. He explained everything thoroughly, offered smart ways to save money, and never tried to upsell anything. The crew was outstanding as well, hard-working, fast, and extremely meticulous with their cleanup. Their professionalism and attention to detail really stood out. Overall, this has been one of the best contractor experiences I’ve had.

Very happy to meet Jim Oakley and have Emerald State replaced our roof. They are Certainteed certified shinglemaster, which is the type of roof in my neighborhood (required by HOA). From our first meeting, we found Jim to be super personable, experienced and honest roofer. It is like interacting with a good friend. His quote was very reasonable as we had 4 other quotes. Communication and planning was totally smooth. His crew led by Adan is equally stellar. They are friendly, proficient and meticulous. At the end of each day, they would diligently sweep for nail and tidy up. We appreciate their professionalism. We now got a fantastic looking roof. I will not hesitate to recommend Jim and Emerald State Roofing to all my friends if they have any roof issue. Such a treat to have a friendly, competent and honest roofer.

As a real estate agent I have been using Emerald State for at least 15 years. Their work is exceptional and dependable and they always keep a clean job site. I use them personally and always refer to friends and family. I can’t recommend Todd and Jim enough.
