My girlfriend and I had a snafu with Expedia and ended up arriving close to 10:30 PM, well past typical check in times and through a third-party site. Despite our late arrival, Bryce at the front desk treated us with kindness and made the start to our stay easy. A phenomenal employee who excels at their job! Unfortunately, our stay had to stop short two nights into our seven night stay with Marriot Fairfield. For the price I had paid for the room, I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the bathroom and size of the room as a whole. The bathroom had visible, raised rust spots near the bathtub faucet, gouges and marks in the wallpaper exposing the bare drywall, and worst of all the tack strip leading into the bathroom tile from the rooms carpet was raised through missing carpet, making for a sharp surface that I and my girlfriend both stepped on multiple times before we decided to cut our trip short. The issues together made me feel unsafe in the room due to worries about tetanus to the point where we decided to move to another Marriot up the road. When I mentioned my issues to the front desk staff they had offered to swap rooms for my girlfriend and I, but by that point I had already made up my mind on switching hotels for the remainder of my trip. The partial refund that I received through Expedia accounted for a number of the nights of the original stay, but I had to explicitly express my worries about my safety to the Expedia representative before they were able to negotiate with the hotels for my refund to be approved and returned to my account. The singular saving grace of this experience had been the staff’s willingness to try to come to a solution that met my needs, but after the carpet meeting the tile of the bathroom I was too worried about what other hidden dangers may be present in any other room I might have been swapped to.

During my brief stay visiting some clients for friday night football. I enjoyed my stay I would like to thank Ms. Trinity Harris for her amazing hospitality and service the staff was very helpful and kind. Clean highly recommended!!!!!!

Last minute reservation led us here. The hotel is busy and very large. It’s connected to another hotel which is confusing. The lady at the front desk was amazing!!! She was down to earth and very helpful. The beds were comfy and the shower was hot. The hallways remind me of the back rooms but we survived. The best thing about the place is the breakfast!! Fried potatoes, scrambled eggs, oatmeal bar and yogurt. But those waffles they have are simply delicious!! There was plenty of food for everyone unlike other places I have stayed. There is a parking garage for parking but it costs $25 a night. I would not suggest wondering too far from the hotel at night time as that area can be sketchy but nothing to awful bad. Overall our stay was short but amazing.
