When we planned our trip for these dates we forgot there was the Soccer tournament scheduled, and never dreamed the Knicks would be in the finals. Soooo. Prices were a bit ridiculous but that's what happens. Staff is outstanding! Rooms were nice but nothing better than any other Fairfield anywhere else. Beds comfy. Spotlessly clean. Great housekeeping. Free breakfast was OK with protein options, fruit, cereal, yogurt, grains. Right smack dab in the middle of Chinatown. 1.5 blocks from subway. Can recommend without reservation.

I honestly cannot understand the many positive reviews. This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and none of our messages have been answered. We paid more than $2,000 for one week in a room for four people. The room was extremely tiny, dirty and in an overall unacceptable condition. There was also mold in the room, which made the situation even worse. Since the hotel was unable to offer us another room, we requested a refund and had to look for a new hotel at the last minute. We were promised that we would receive a refund for everything except the first night. Unfortunately, more than a month later, we still have not received any refund. Considering the amount of money involved, this is completely unacceptable. No one responds to our emails, the hotel does not appear to be communicating with Booking.com either and the whole experience has been deeply disappointing. Be careful what you book. Unfortunately, nothing worked as it should and I am extremely disappointed, especially with such a large hotel chain.
I had a three-day stay at the Fairfield Hotel. The service was very good, and the staff was incredibly welcoming. The hotel was clean, and it was conveniently located in Chinatown, just a short walk away from numerous fantastic Asian restaurants. Breakfast was included, and the food was good. One notable advantage was that our check-in was at 12 p.m. instead of the usual 11 a.m., which perfectly aligned with our travel plans.
