Since we visited on a weekday, the rafting cost us ₹650 per person, which I found to be quite reasonable. We also got GoPro photos and videos for an additional ₹200 per person—definitely worth it for capturing all the excitement and memories. We booked our rafting near Janki Setu, from where the agent arranged transportation to the starting point in Shivpuri. The drive itself was beautiful, winding through scenic hills and lush greenery. To make it even better, it started raining lightly during our journey, which added a magical touch to the whole experience. Our guide was extremely kind, professional, and helpful. He made sure everyone felt comfortable while also keeping the adventure alive. The rapids were exciting, the views along the Ganga were stunning, and the entire experience struck the perfect balance between thrill and fun. Whether you're traveling with friends, family, or solo, I would highly recommend trying rafting in Rishikesh. It's one of those experiences that pushes you out of your comfort zone while giving you memories you'll never forget. A small tip: if you're looking for better pricing and fewer crowds, plan your rafting on a weekday. Overall, it was adventurous, refreshing, and incredibly fun. In my opinion, everyone visiting Rishikesh should try rafting at least once—you'll almost certainly enjoy every minute of it!

The rafting experience was decent and the river route was good. Safety arrangements were fine, and the staff was generally okay. However, I was disappointed by the guide's behavior after we declined the paid video package. It felt like the enthusiasm and engagement during the trip reduced noticeably. We were also not stopped at the Maggie Point, which many other groups seemed to enjoy. Because of this, the overall experience felt rushed and less enjoyable than expected. Rafting itself was good, but the customer experience should remain the same regardless of whether guests purchase additional services or not.
