this place doesn’t prioritize you as a patient. I have been waiting to get a prior authorization for medication I been out of for months they have initially filled out the paper work but the insurance company needs more info and said they have sent paperwork via fax to them and called them to get no answer. When I question about getting the prior authorization I get a attitude and was told that the information was given to the provider or that I’m not in the system of my insurance company which dose not make sense as of today still no authorization after I was insured the provider would take care of it I am worried that if I had a bigger issue with medication it would go on until they feel like getting the paperwork complete. On 4/27 I decided to still give this practice a chance for my psychiatric care because I like the provider when she stitch me up from an injury. My appointment was at 2pm which I was there right at 2 no one in the waiting room. After dealing with my insurance getting the co pay I was taken to the back where I was left in the room waiting over 45 min to get seen. At the same time the provider was seen another patient that came in after me and was a urgent care patient not a emergency and was also trying to fix a x ray machine when I was there for my 2 pm appointment again I wasn’t prioritize especially scheduling a appointment over 3 weeks out for this consult. I was also told that there were 2 people working in that practice that day not good especially if your a urgent care also need to staff more people to prioritize your patients. Needless to say I will be going back to My original primary care doctor after trying this practice.

We moved here recently and haven't had a chance to find a primary yet. I went to the ER and waited 5 hours before I went home without being seen. I then found this urgent care and was surprised how fast, friendly, and professional the staff are. The place is clean and very new. They are getting an X-ray machine at the end of the month. I was able to get answers and labs done fast. Will be coming back for sure.

Worst urgent care experience I’ve ever had. I recently moved to North Carolina and have received medical care in South Carolina. Never have I been told that “HIPAA” prevents a medical office from discussing my own test results with me over the phone. During my visit, the doctor initially only looked at my throat and then decided to check my ears. I was told they didn’t want to prescribe antibiotics because I am pregnant, which I completely understand. The doctor recommended an over-the-counter throat medication, but I had to ask if it was safe to take during pregnancy instead of that information being provided. Later, I received a notification from my pharmacy that a prescription had been sent in. No one ever told me they had prescribed anything. I later found out it was allergy medication, but I wasn’t informed during my visit that a prescription had been sent. I filled out paperwork clearly stating that I am 23 weeks pregnant, yet I still had to remind the doctor that I was pregnant during my appointment. My rapid strep test came back negative, and I was told they would send a throat culture and call me with the results. Instead, I received a call telling me I had to come back to the office to discuss my results because of “HIPAA.” When I called to ask if they could simply tell me whether my result was positive or negative, I was told they could not because of HIPAA. I’ve never had a doctor’s office or OB-GYN refuse to give me my own test results over the phone after verifying my identity. Every other provider I’ve seen has been able to communicate results by phone or through a patient portal. As a pregnant patient, I found this especially concerning because if my throat culture is positive for strep, delaying treatment could have consequences. The communication throughout this experience was confusing and frustrating. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this urgent care, especially to pregnant patients.
