Greatwerx ProjectsInc.PROVerified business?

We hired this company to finish our basement. The workmanship was poor, and Jamie’s lack of professionalism was shocking. Jamie is the owner by the way. We are very glad we insisted on permits, even though Jamie said the work could be done without one. The project failed plumbing and framing inspections, with significant issues that could have cost us money long-term. The shower wasn’t checked for proper drainage, framing gaps were too wide, and required fireproofing was only completed after inspectors flagged it. The drywall was awful, painting was sloppy, and despite clearly requesting an acrylic shower wall multiple times, we ended up with tile due to poor communication with his team. Jamie then attempted to charge us for the tiling work we did not want or request. When concerns were raised, Jamie took no accountability telling me to “smile,” saying he felt like a “punching bag,” and dismissing the poor workmanship by saying he’d “seen worse.” I have no idea how this company is in business. I will never hire them again and strongly advise others to steer clear. The photos here were taken right after Jamie said the work was done.

I would like to thank Jamie and his team from Greatwerx Projects for the outstanding job on our floor and molding repairs in our coach home. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and quality craftsmanship truly stood out. We couldn’t be happier with the results and highly recommend Greatwerx Projects to anyone in need of home repair or renovation work.

An incredible kitchen renovation, that led to also updating our living room and stairs! Jamie, Kevin and the rest of Greatwerx crew were extremely professional, tidy and super comfortable to work with. I would happily work with Greatwerx again.
