This place is centrally located and the folks working their are customer service friendly. However, this is an older site and the rooms reflect that. The rooms are small and if you're in a 2 bedroom their is only enough room to walk between the beds and not any room to walk between the beds and the side walls. The shower is so small that you have to stand sideways in the stall, although their was no shortage of hot water and had good pressure. Their was a "L" desk connected to where the TV sat which broke and collapsed when I went to use it. Although I reported it to hotel staff twice and they said they had 24 maintenance it was never addressed. Additionally, the TV's are 720p as opposed to newer models with better/clearer picture.

Right in the middle of time Square. The customer service was impeccable. Any needs or issues resolved immediately. The rooms are tiny FYI. But we didn't spend much time in the room other than sleeping. Free contential breakfast. I apologize in advanced, the a/c units made everything kinda sticky from the humidity. And whoever had my room before their hair was everywhere. However now my hair is everywhere and its bright blue. Was picking up my hair everywhere. But all in all good bang for the buck.
I wish I could recommend this hotel. The recent positive reviews are a bit puzzling to me too. But if you have dust/mold allergies, please read this. We paid $392 for a 19th floor corner was room with 2 double beds. The room smaller than most studio apartments, which I guess should be expected for a Manhattan hotel. No hair dryer, barely anywhere to store clothes, and there was a loose spring in one of the beds. The towels were tiny and barely absorbent, and there were several days we never got clean ones as housekeeping never came. Doors were paper thin, and I could hear everything happening in the hallway. The worst part was the HVAC unit though. The moment we walked into our room, my friend's allergies to mold and dust flared up quite badly. 1 look at the HVAC unit in the room showed us why- see the picture attached. For the rest of the week, he was miserable whenever he was in the room. But his allergy symptoms subsided the moment we left the hotel. **If you have dust or mold allergies, avoid this hotel at all costs.** The elevator wasn't as much of an issue as some reviews made it seem. It was very fast and only busy in the morning hours, but this notice about them "refreshing items" makes me think it will become a problem for however long it takes. I would never expect anything fancy or high end from a Hampton Inn, and I would have given this hotel 3-4 stars if not for the issues with the room. Most of the staff was friendly, and the location is hard to beat. Unfortunately, paying close to $400 per night felt like a huge rip off. Hopefully the items they're "refreshing" include beds without loose springs, and HVAC units that will not trigger allergic reactions. Not that I will find out though, as I do not plan on staying here again.
