Incredibly welcoming and bible-centered church! We were here for a few days on business, and wanted to find a good place to worship. Great teaching, very friendly.

There is not enough space to write all the good things about this church. GFBC is not just a regular Christian church, but it's one of those churches that just feels like home. The pastor greets every person who walks through the front door, with a big smile. I've been to a lot of churches, but to have a church where your pastor knows your name, invites you over to his home for lunch, dinner, and random things, holidays, etc. is very rare in todays world. My wife and I first attended GFBC in February 2018. I can honestly say, from the first moment I walked in the door, I knew I had found my new church home. The people who make up this church are some of the most loving, thoughtful, wonderful human beings God places in your life. I can say, with all doubt removed, this church is the real deal church family! Never, in a million years, would I have guessed that in 1 years time, that I'd have gotten baptized, and become a actual member who teaches Sunday school to teens, and get to be a part of service almost every week! I am learning how to live my life as Christ wants me to live. All this because I walked in their door on a cold February morning! If you are looking for a bible teaching Christian church, with a pastor who tends to his flock, then stop looking. You've found the best one in the entire state of Utah, dare I say, the whole midwest! Even if you're still kinda iffy, I challenge you to stop by any day of the week (except Friday) and meet Pastor Tim. This guy is the real thing. For any other religion looking for a change of scenery, please stop by. Services start at 10 am on Sunday, with Sunday school, then prayer time, then Service starts at 11am and goes until 12:30 ish, then we fellowship and eat! Ha! (First Sundays of the month are Potluck days!) My favorite!. It's a great day to spend time with this church family, clothed in the Word of God, surrounded by the best people in the world! If you are seeking the Truth, please do yourself a life-changing favor and come on by! Door is always open for you. Bring a friend or 2, or 5!

Being a resident of Washington state I was curious to learn that a graduate of the Master's Seminary was pastoring a church in my ancestral home (Heber/Midway). I contacted Pastor Tim in 2015 after reading through GFBC's excellent website and was impressed by his character and biblical knowledge. In late 2019 I flew to SLC for the specific purpose of meeting Pastor Tim & his family and attending a GFBC worship service. I left Utah wishing there was a church like GFBC anywhere in my area. Pastor Tim's teaching is thoroughly biblical and the true gospel of Jesus Christ is presented with careful clarity. If you're fortunate enough to live in the greater Heber Valley, please take the opportunity to visit this "light shining in the darkness!"
