Hilton Garden Inn Queens/JFKAirportPROVerified business?

This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. I made the horrible mistake of staying here for one night and had a terrible experience. The rooms are outdated for the prices. Except for the television (THAT NO ONE USES), the rooms look straight from the 90s. No walk-in shower, just a bathtub. I’d expect that for cheaper hotels… In both the evening and the early morning, the alarm in the room started blaring. It woke me up from my nap in the evening and made my morning shower hell. I spoke to other people on the shuttle bus to JFK and they had the same issue. The alarm rang for 30 minutes in the morning. It is completely ridiculous and totally unacceptable for an alarm to go off in rooms for no reason with no way to stop it. Even the shuttle to JFK had issues. The driver had an injury and needed help lifting bags. Why is he allowed to work with such an injury? It’s bad for him and bad for guests. What a joke of a hotel. I will never stay at this slum again. The owners should be embarrassed. If I ran a hotel like this, I’d be so ashamed that I’d change my name and move across the country.

Stayed here as a day-use room with an airline voucher due to a canceled flight. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable even though I was near the elevator. Front desk staff and bar/restaurant server were outstanding! Everyone was very friendly, helpful, cheerful, smiled, polite, and went out of their way to help people, not just me. I can't say enough how pleasant that was, especially with the flight issues I had. Hopefully management sees this and gives everyone a nice bonus. Thank you for having a great team!

Surprisingly top notch hotel. It’s extremely hard finding an hotel next to the Rockaways that is not 500 a night and crappy looking. Inside the hotel was very nice. Staff was on point and finding ways to make our stay easier. Food was probably the best hotel food I have ever had, it does not taste like those nasty holiday inn deluxe breakfast. The only thing I would say, is that the water pressure in the shower is no joke and there is no way to change it 😭 plus they gave us only 2 paper toilet rolls that were half way empty. Other than those 2 minor things, absolutely excellent. The parking is 45 a night but I don’t care as long as we are guaranteed parking and the breakfast was 15 a plate which once again, I don’t care as long as it taste good. The hotel is isolated which I like because I’m a introvert. It worked perfect for us 👌
