We (wife and two young children) had a great time. Staff was spectacular (Fabian and Amber for check in) were very nice and attentive. They recognized my Diamond status. I did not mention that and they kindly upgraded my family, upon seeing our kids , to a suite to allow for more room for them. Catherine and Orlando in the restaurant deserve a shoutout too. We stay here every time we go to San Antonio.

My stay here was not great. I’ve been a few times and the first time was not great the following visits were better and then this last visit was worse. On my first visit there was hair on the wall of my shower and I found someone else’s clothes behind the chair in the room. Housekeep had failed to service the room appropriately. Management did apologize and made me feel better after the situation. I decided to give the hotel another chance and it went well the past three visits until my last visit, which will be my last time here. I pick this hotel because it’s close to where I go when I visit Texas and honestly the bartenders and waitresses are nice. Plus the workout area is nice and has great amenities for children, if you are staying for sea world. I also liked that there was no parking fees. Fast forward to this visit, now there are parking fees, I stopped staying in downtown San Antonio because of the large parking fees and the distance I would have to travel. I will now be staying at hiltons downtown again after this last visit. I came in from a long flight and saw yet again hair in my shower. I have really short hair so it’s really obvious when hair is not yours. Also, to note I’ve stayed at countless hiltons over the years and haven’t ever seen a bug problem. I woke up to cockroaches crawling around my sink. I was able to take a picture of one of them. I travel for work but whether you are traveling for work or vacation, you shouldn’t have to have these experiences. I notified the staff and it wasn’t taken very seriously. Those concerns should be addressed further than just switching someone’s room. I felt like it was brushed off and no big deal. Fire alarm kept going off last night too. Anyways, I hope housekeeping gets better.

We had an amazing experience during our 3 day stay! Everyone was super sweet and friendly, we were at the pool and our 6 year old son cut his finger and the bartender Chloe went above and beyond for us! She brought over a bandaid, ointment and antiseptic spray to clean it. She was so very sweet! The pools and the restaurant were Fabulous!!! The room was beautiful and perfect for our little family! We enjoyed the kid friendly atmosphere and they played a different Disney movie on the patio every night with s’mores!
