I hired HVAC Hunters for a refrigerant recharge. The technician told me, based on his professional experience, that this recharge would get my system through the summer. I took him at his professional word and approved the work on that basis. It did not last 12 hours. The system stopped working the same day. Only afterward did I read the fine print on the invoice, which says the opposite of what I was told in person: that a recharge carries no guarantee of operation for any period of time and that the refrigerant may keep leaking. So I was sold a “summer” fix verbally, handed a disclaimer in writing, and left with a system that quit before the next morning. To make it worse, no one had the courtesy to call me and let me know the outcome of the conversation with their technician. Having managed large operations for years, I know there’s a right way and a wrong way to do business: set honest expectations, stand behind what your technician promises, and communicate directly. None of that happened here. My advice, get every promise in writing before you approve any work, or better yet, call someone else.

Alex and his team are always very communicative and responsive which is always hard to find. I use HVAC Hunters for both of my business locations and just had mini splits installed in my home. Pricing is fair and the work is neat and noticeable. Pictures are always taken and explained thoroughly. I try to recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC assistance because they are the best!

Alex came out to deep clean all four of our split units and did such a great job! He was incredibly thorough, took his time with each unit, and was SO clean throughout the entire process, which I really appreciated. Everything was spotless when he left and our units are running great. Such an easy, positive experience from start to finish. Would absolutely use HVAC Hunters again and highly recommend Alex!
