IAA has great customer service, I recently applied for a license and the USPS delivery messed it up so I never received the document. I called IAA and spoke to a human person and in less than 5 minutes they told me they were sending another document through priority mail. I appreciate the customer service.
China, Japan, Korea do not accept this. I am visiting Korea and asked for a refund and they refused saying it is on their site that those countries don't accept it. I googled and found that an electronic IDP is not legal which is what I purchased. And an official IDP is legally only issued for 1 year and certainly not past your DL expiration date. Go to AAA and pay $20.00 for an official international driver's license.
