⭐️⭐️ I was excited to try Kabob & Greens, especially because I’m Afghan and a majority of my family are kabob restaurant owners. I called beforehand to ask about the owners’ background, and they told me they’re Afghan. I also asked if the food is halal, and they said it is, although I didn’t see anything clearly stating that on their website or in person. As for the food, I think the concept is there, but the portions need some work. I paid around $18 for a bowl and honestly didn’t feel like I got much for my money. I ordered the lamb, and while I liked the idea of having vegetables and different toppings, I expected a more filling portion for the price. One thing I will give them credit for: I asked for extra sauce and offered to pay for a couple more, but they insisted on giving it to me for free. I appreciated that. I’ve saw someone say this place is better than Shah’s, but I think they’re pretty different styles of food. Shah’s is more of an NYC halal-cart/platter-style restaurant, while Kabob & Greens feels more like a CAVA-style concept with Afghan-inspired food. I’ve tried quite a few chicken, gyro, and halal spots around Virginia, and personally I’d still rank Shah’s around #5 for me. Overall, I think Kabob & Greens has a good idea and could definitely become a solid spot, but they need to step up the portions and execution. Otherwise, I worry they could end up like Greek Palace, where the potential is there but the food doesn’t quite live up to it. I’m giving it 3 stars for now. I’d definitely come back and give it another shot if they improve.

Happy to have another healthy option added to the Warrenton area...I ordered the chicken bowl which reminds me of Cava, just not quite as flavorful. With Chipotle across the street at a few dollars less, there may be some healthy competition. Nevertheless, I'm excited!

This place is so good! A different type of food in our town! So yummy. Authentic Greek food that is well priced and good portions! We tried the lentil soup, spicy gyro (there is a non-spicy option), chicken kabob, spanakopita, and baklava. The guy who waited on us was friendly and the service was great!
