Our stay at Kailas Estate was truly one of the most memorable experiences we have had in the hills. Very disappointing experience and absolutely not worth the price. We booked Archouse at around ₹12,000 per night, and the property was extremely mediocre for what we paid. We had multiple issues during our stay and reported them to the front desk, but the staff did not properly respond or resolve them. The hot water was not working, the AC was not working, and the rooms were dusty and clearly not cleaned properly. There were also visible stains on the bedsheets. The common areas were not well maintained either. The walkways were dirty, and even after requesting that they be cleaned, nothing was done. The so-called kids' play area was essentially just a trampoline and a broken bow-and-arrow setup, which was disappointing. The evening snacks were another letdown - mostly frozen food that appeared to be reheated rather than freshly prepared. The only genuinely good thing about our stay was the breakfast. Apart from that, the experience was a waste of money. At ₹12,000 per night, we expected a much higher standard of cleanliness, maintenance, service, and overall hospitality. The property has potential, but the current level of service and maintenance does not justify the price at all.

My third visit in last one year, such fond memories with my family. Decent, quiet and vibrant place to spend time. Kids play area, boating, Safari, Private swimming pool keeps the day engaged. Mr. Gopu supported us with Birthday balloon decor for the celebration and guided us all along during the course of stay. Highly recommended.
