She is a very passionate, talented hairstylist and demonstrates this when hair styling, colouring and not forget to mention her unique technical skills. Beautiful salon, lovely atmosphere, and amazing service. 10/10 recommend!

I had a frankly really disappointing experience at Armadale Hair Beautique today. I had been waiting 7 weeks for this appointment (as a working mum with a young son it was the first that suit my schedule which was fine), so I was really excited. My hair was looking shocking and I had previously been to this salon once before which had been a great experience, today was very different. I arrived about 10 minutes late as I had gone to the wrong side of the centre, I felt terrible and apologised profusely. Before starting the stylist told me she wasn’t going to have time to do my full head of foils but could do a half head, I was so disappointed as I had been waiting so long for this appointment but agreed as there wasn’t much I could do about it. I have very thick hair so it took her some time to complete, by the time foils were done she had to move on to another client. At no point was I told there was going to be an additional cost for my hair thickness (although had I been told I would have agreed knowing my hair uses extra product). While at the basin another stylist told me because the first stylist had run over time they couldn’t do both a cut and blow dry, only one. I was really disappointed and frankly taken aback by this, I have never ever had a stylist say they couldn’t do part of a service for me let alone them not being able to do a full head of foils and a blow dry. The one saving grace of this salon is the young girl who did my trim and a bit of a dry off, she was as very kind to me and tried to dry what she could. When i went to pay I was charged $220.75 on top of a $200 deposit meaning a total of $420.75… this again shocked me considering the package I booked was a full head of foils, toner, cut and blow dry and was I got was a half head of foils, toner and cut. I completely appreciate having to pay extra for extra time and product but this was half the service I booked for more cost. I was then told by the gentleman at front desk that basically I should have booked differently. I booked the package that was available and had been to this salon before so they had seen and done my hair before and charged me less for a fulls service and at no point was an additional cost for less work discussed… Frankly I walked out feeling really upset and embarrassed, I felt that my hair was an inconvenience for them. I won’t be returning to this salon and would urge any new customer to ensure you get a firm cost and commitment before starting the appointment, like I wish I had done. **I am editing my post to also include photos of the results of my appointment. Including uneven dark and light patches along my hairline from the foils. And the state of the back of my head because the team could only do half a head instead of a full head. $420 for this result, no sorry not happy with it.
