My sons moved from public school to Lighthouse Learning in February. We are so happy that we made the switch! We love the small class sizes and individualized learning. I have seen so much growth in my kids even in such a short amount of time. All of the teachers and staff truly care and are invested in each of the students and their individual needs. My kids look forward to going to school and describe Lighthouse as “one big family”.
We love everything about Lighthouse Learning! The personalized education allows our children to thrive at the level they are ready for and build confidence in their abilities. The enrichment days are so fun they feel like play days at school. The teachers are kind and compassionate and gentle with the students. We love it! It has been the perfect solution for our alternative education preferences.
As we got ready to send our oldest daughter to Kindergarten, I struggled to send her into the public schools, even though my husband and I are both educators. I didn't want her to deal with the constant standardized testing, frequent interruptions to learning during the day, etc. Lighthouse has been the answer for these concerns. It such a great space for her and has provided uninterrupted chunks of time to focus on academics, a slower pace to her day and a staff that truly knows her and cares for her. The school environment is like a family and there is a motivation to help kids learn in whatever way they need. Everytime I am there and hear how the teachers run their morning meetings, I get so excited to be there because there is such care and compassion. Lighthouse makes time for the little details that have sadly fallen by the wayside in public schools lately. The students are friendly and respectful. Mrs. Oliver shows deep respect and care for everyone: staff, parents and students. I'm grateful that we have the opportunity to be here and that my daughter is thriving, thanks to Lighthouse Learning!
