Unfortunately, my last few visits haven't been great, but after my experience this past Thursday, I've decided I won't be returning.
I brought my niece in to get a basic dip set with tips for her summer break with me, as that's what her parents allow her to have. I specifically requested a simple dip set with tips no Gel-X and no designs. The gentleman doing her nails immediately seemed to have an attitude because I declined those additional services. He rushed through her appointment, and the quality of her nails was terrible. Even worse, he cut her thumb during the service. She was very upset when we got in the car and is still complaining that it hurts several days later. When I checked out, I was prepared to let the experience go, but I also had an issue with my gift card. The remaining balance wasn't what I had been told it was during my previous visit. (This has happened before) Then the employee checking me out never once asked how my service went, even though she asked the customers around me about their experience. As someone who has been a loyal client for years, I found that very rude. A simple conversation, genuine concern, or an offer to make things right such would have gone a long way.
One of the managers did call me after I left the salon, and I explained my concerns, but I still didn't feel like she understood how frustrating the entire experience was or that the salon took appropriate responsibility for what happened. Considering my niece was cut during her service and both of us received poor quality nail sets, I feel they could have at least offered a refund.
It had only been a couple of days, and two of my nails have already broken.
I'm extremely disappointed with the service, the quality of the work, and the lack of concern shown when these issues were brought to their attention. I can't recommend this salon anymore.
