I waited until my lease was up to make this review. If you're relatively young and looking for a first apartment, this is not the place to go to. Your deposit will be 3x higher than anyone else so be warned and look elsewhere. It wasn't a major issue for us but it could be for others if young and in need of housing. Staff is nice but the maintenance itself isn't the best. Within the 11 months of our stay, we had multiple issues with the apartment. Shelves falling off and maintenance just re-drilling the same nail to the shelf back into the wall. AC leaking disgusting black gunk and hair into the tub which lasted weeks because they couldn't fix the issue. After 4-5 attempts of asking them to fix it, we just stopped trying because each of their attempts never worked. Probably mold up there because it was constantly wet. And by constantly I mean the whole 11 months of our lease. Don't call the 24/7 maintenance hotline they have because they don't document the phone calls and won't believe you when you tell them you've called multiple times. Do it through the apartment website so it's actually documented. Our dryer ended up breaking because of how old it is which is fine and when they replaced it, they used all of our trash bags that was stored under the sink without asking and I was home at the time so they had opportunity to ask me. Electricity in some of the wall plugs don't work. Kept a cheap amount of our deposit when we moved out due to the carpets being scratched up even though I documented on their little paper that our carpet is very scratched up and they said it wouldn't fall onto me later. So don't forget to take videos and pictures prior to move in. And whatever other hindrance me and my partner dealt with that I forgot. It's an old apartment complex so expect to deal with maintenance issues. They change the gate and walk-in codes very frequently because of how many car thefts they face. I got at least 4 emails of them having to let residents know that somebodies car got stolen and how to prevent your car being next. And to think they dismissed me when I reported that a creepy man followed me into the apartments in his car. We had a 1bath 1bed and a den and there's only 2 windows in that entire apartment and only a patio door lighting up the living, dining, and kitchen. Everything on the outside does look nice and it's clean. Staff is friendly, amenities are good. If you're young and/or you care about where you sleep, don't bother

I’ve been living at Marquis at Kingwood going on a year now. I can say that their staff are top-notch. Holly did a great job helping me from from the beginning showing the units, to getting through all the paperwork as well as any questions I had along the way. Their maintenance guys are on top of everything and get maintenance request done perfectly and in a timely manner. They definitely made my experience here awesome. Great team!!

Anyone who tells you there are problems here are wrong I've been here 3+ years and everything has been stellar. My son and his wife also live here. Recently I recommended the apartment to my niece and her partner and they were impressed. They take care of problems very quickly but there are very little problems. I've never had an experience like this with an apartment. I am very happy.
