I don’t leave negative reviews lightly, but I believe other homeowners deserve to know about my experience. I originally contracted Dolphin Roofing (Rish) to complete both my fencing and roof restoration. After ongoing issues with the fencing, Harry from Adelaide Landscaping Group took over that project and recommended I use Master Roof Restorations (Rana) for the roof instead, assuring me the workmanship would be of a much higher standard. It wasn’t. The fascia installation took three attempts and was still left with dents, creases and an unacceptable finish. The gutters were poorly measured,cut,badly aligned, loose and rattled after installation. These weren’t minor cosmetic issues—they were workmanship issues that I raised repeatedly. When I questioned the quality, Rana advised me over the phone that he would not complete the job. Several days later, in an effort to resolve the situation, I contacted him again. Rather than arranging to inspect the defects with me, the focus appeared to be on getting the roof painted and the job completed and paid in full on the day to his workers, with assurances that defects could be fixed afterwards. I wasn’t prepared to have a roof fully coated while the gutters and fascias were still defective and full payment taken. Rana instructed his team to apply the mould-resistant membrane and complete the roof coating in a single day despite recent heavy rain, while the roof surface was still wet and before the outstanding issues had been rectified. I later obtained independent advice that raised concerns with that approach. I also asked Rana wether he had inspected the work and was he happy with the work performed.He told me he had inspected the works and approved, yet I never saw him attend my property. That left me with no confidence in the supervision of the project or quality of work performed. Communication eventually broke down completely. There were threats of legal action, discussions about removing materials that had already been paid for, and no genuine attempt to resolve the workmanship issues I had raised from the beginning. At that point, I formally terminated the contract. I then engaged another roofing contractor. The difference was obvious from day one. Communication was clear, workmanship was professional, the defects were corrected properly, and the finished roof is exactly what I expected from the start. Throughout this experience I also became concerned by the referrals between Dolphin Roofing, Master Landscaping Adelaide, Adelaide Landscaping Group and Master Roof Restorations. Consumers should take the time to understand exactly who they are contracting with, who holds responsibility for the work, and who will actually supervise the project. Since my project was completed, I have also noticed the business name appears to have changed from Master Roof Restorations to Roof Repairs & Restoration Specialist in Adelaide. I simply note this as an observation for anyone researching the business. I will also be referring my experience to the Master Builders Association for independent review. My advice is simple: inspect everything carefully, don’t accept promises that defects will be fixed later, and don’t make final decisions or payment until you’re satisfied the workmanship is up to standard.

Unfortunately, the workmanship was unacceptable. The fascias required three separate attempts and were still left with creases, dents and an unprofessional finish. The gutters were misaligned, poorly cut, loose and rattling. Despite repeatedly raising these defects, Rana never attended our property to inspect the work with us, even though he told us it had been inspected and approved. After we questioned the quality of the workmanship, Rana advised us by phone that he would not complete the job. After allowing several days for the situation to settle, we contacted him again in an attempt to resolve the matter. We were then encouraged to proceed with painting the roof before the gutters and fascias were rectified, with assurances that any defects would simply be fixed afterwards. Rana instructed his team to apply the mould-resistant membrane and complete the roof coating over the entire roof in the same day, despite recent heavy rain, while the roof was still wet and with the gutters and fascias still incomplete. We were not prepared to accept that approach. Communication deteriorated, we lost confidence in the project, formally terminated the contract and engaged another contractor. The difference in workmanship, communication and professionalism was immediate. We also found it concerning how closely connected Dolphin Roofing, Master Landscaping Adelaide, Adelaide Landscaping Group and Master Roof Restorations appeared throughout our dealings, with referrals being made between the businesses. Since our project was completed, we have also noticed that the business name appears to have changed from Master Roof Restorations to Master Roofing Adelaide - Roof Repairs & Restoration Specialist in Adelaide. We simply note this as an observation so that other consumers are aware when researching or comparing businesses and can make informed decisions about who they are engaging. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend these businesses. We will also be reporting our experience to the Master Builders Association so it can be independently reviewed and to help ensure other homeowners do not have a similar experience.

We have just had our roof restoration completed by Rana. He was very professional and lovely to work with. His workmanship was exemplary. From start to finish the team were friendly, price point was very reasonable in comparison to others and the part that I particularly liked was that there was no negative remarks about others in the industry when shopping around & doing our due diligence getting quotes. We are extremely happy with the completion of our roof restoration project. Thanks for all of your good work.
