We got quotes from several roofing companies, and after careful consideration, my husband and I decided to go with Melo Roofing. We’re so glad we did! Our ceiling had already been damaged and had water stains after a heavy rain. While we were waiting for our roof replacement, Melo Roofing came out and temporarily covered the damaged area to prevent further leaks. That made a huge difference and gave us peace of mind. The crew leader, Dave, the roofing crew, and the supervisor, Jesus, were all fantastic. They were honest and professional throughout the entire process. After removing the old roof, they found that some materials were still in good condition, so they refunded part of our original quote. We really appreciated their honesty and integrity. The crew worked incredibly hard, even in 94°F heat. They kept me updated throughout the project, explained everything in detail, and completed the job in just about a day and a half. My husband and I are extremely satisfied with both the quality of their work and their sincerity. The roof also comes with a warranty, which gives us even more confidence and peace of mind. I cannot say enough good things about our experience from start to finish! When obtaining a quote for a new roof, Melo showed up on time and were knowledgeable and insightful about our home and what was needed. Throughout the planning phase of our project Melo was communicative and responsive, clearly communicating when we were scheduled for installation, cancelled due to weather, and then rescheduled. On the day of our roof install, the Melo team showed up ahead of scheduled time and got right to work. It is clear that the team truly valued our experience - from start to finish they took care to pick up throughout the day, were friendly and accomodating when we needed to get outside, and provided consistent and honest updates about our project as the day progressed. We had a few unexpected things come up throughout the installation (as expected) that needed repair and they were clear and honest about recommendations to resolve and what the added cost would be. When the job was complete they walked us through everything that was done to ensure our satisfaction, did a thorough and final sweep of our yard and our neighbors to ensure nothing was left behind, and were gone by 6pm or so. Overall, our experience has been excellent and we love our new roof - would absolutely recommend!
