We had our staff Christmas party at the Metropolitan on Saturday 13th December 2025 with 24 of us, and it was a great night. The food was faultless, everything was prepared/cooked nicely, the mains were served hot, and it all tasted great. The team were also very helpful in preparing a kosher meal, which was delivered the day before with no issues at all. We all had a brilliant evening, dancing along to Diana Ross and then enjoying the DJ afterwards. A big thank you to everyone at the Metropolitan, from the events team to the hospitality staff, for helping make it such an enjoyable night. We’d definitely recommend this venue.
Great venue, attended the celebration of the life of a dear man here. Nice big room, 2 big TV screens showing a running slide-show of photos. Nice food served on a long buffet. Must have been over 100 guests. John Banks was a much loved man, R.I.P.
