This place is great - nice location, very friendly staff, my room was recently renovated so it was super modern, clean, and well laid out. The room was really small, but that’s to be expected in New York City. I was up on one of the top floors and the view was awesome. I am a Marriott guy and only stayed here because of the outrageous hotel pricing with the World Cup being here during my stay so this was not my first choice, but after seeing how clean, comfortable, and quiet this place is, I will come back on future trips into the city for work. The bar in this hotel was also really good, very lively.

I’ve been staying here on business, I chose this hotel because it is .20 miles from my company office. When I made my reservation, I believe I asked for a high floor away from the elevators. They put me on 16 and right near the elevator so it’s been rather loud and hard for me to sleep. Additionally, the bathroom was not very clean to the degree that I put one of my towels down on the shower floor instead of stepping on it, barefoot. My iron was broken and they did graciously bring me another right away but overall, my experience has not been the best in the room. Rooms are much smaller than expected with less amenities than I am used to, I chose not to complain or make a big deal and just powered through because I’ve been in and out of the room so much. Oh and the bed is not very comfortable AT ALL contributing my inability to sleep. In all honesty I would not stay again for business travel specifically. Seems like it could be a fun hotel for vacation for young people who don’t need much. *************************************** Update: I received an email from Natalia about my stay and I told her all of the above and she went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make up for my experience at the hotel. She didn't have to, she could have just apologized and gave me 10% percent off a dinner or my hotel stay or something along those lines but she made sure that she did what was within her power to make it right. I value customer service above anything, and with that she definitely made it so that I would come back to the hotel, probably for leisure only, but I would for sure come back and visit due to her stellar customer service. Tga j you so much Natalia!!

I had a wonderful stay at the Moxy Hotel in New York! Although the rooms are a bit small and cozy, the overall experience is absolutely amazing. The views from the window are beautiful, especially if you choose a room on a higher floor — I definitely recommend that! The hotel has a great atmosphere, and having a restaurant inside is a big plus. The breakfasts are delicious and a perfect start to the day. I truly enjoyed my stay and would warmly recommend this place to anyone visiting New York. I would love to come back here someday!
