I highly recommend Mario and his team for all your drainage, grading, and hardscaping needs! Mario is talented, responsive, and highly skilled at what he does. He is an excellent problem solver. We had tricky water pooling issues around the front corner of the house as well as in the backyard. Out of the 5 contractors I contacted, Mario's proposed solution stood out as the simplest and most comprehensive. Everything turned out exactly like what he promised. He measured and designed a path for water to exit in the backyard while helping us get rid of an old catch basin that no longer worked. Our gate was too small for his grading equipment to pass through, and to avoid taking down fences, Mario rented a smaller machine and manually graded the area for two days in high heat. The backyard is now both functional and aesthetically pleasing. For the front of the house, he and his concrete team did an excellent job replacing a portion of the driveway, sloping the concrete in a way that pitches water away from the foundation. He also helped us get PVC drainpipe (for downspout extension) and installed it underground for free before pouring the concrete. Mario is both a highly trustworthy contractor and a pleasant person to work with. We are very happy with the results.

Mario and team do great work, we highly recommend MTM. We have a street water runoff drain on our property, with a retaining wall that had rotted out. The dirt and soil has started washing out from the top of the retaining wall and into the drain canal. We didn't know this until Mario came on site and diagnosed the problem. Mario brought his own equipment and materials, removed the old logs from the retaining wall, and put in railroad ties to form a new (functional wall). He paid close attention to the walls shape, cutting the ties on site and making sure to cut each piece carefully to ensure a tight and stable fit. He also put in tie-backs to ensure the wall doesn't sag over time. After the walk was built he took additional efforts to keep the soil in place. He brought in new soil and riprap to cover it all up. He also brought large stones for extra stability to prevent the soil eroding/washing away again. You can see the before/after in the pictures for yourself. A job well done, and money well spent.

Mario is an artist with his equipment. He has given us an incredible backyard space from what was an overgrown, undulating, and unusable mess. He is able to visualize the final product and make it reality. My project scope changed at least twice from the initial discussions, adding some work and taking some away, and Mario was very accommodating and flexible. He’s very personable and pleasure to work with!! We now have the best backyard in the neighborhood. Thanks, Mario!!
