I had my solar and battery system installed by Nabu Energy last year, and after living with the system for over a year, I can say I'm happy with my experience. The system has been working flawlessly, and the team was knowledgeable and responsive throughout the entire process. One thing I really appreciated was that they accommodated my request to install the battery exactly where I wanted it. Some other companies wanted to place it where it would have been easier for them, but Nabu Energy took the time to do it the way I preferred. They did miss one appointment during the installation process, but things like that can happen, and it wasn't a major issue. What mattered more was that they communicated well and continued to follow up afterward to make sure everything was working properly.

Had my solar system: solar + battery installed in 2025. Overall quite satisfied with Nabu’s services. They are local companies and I like to work with local installers. Price: Nabu’s offer has better value vs the other 2 good-review local installers I spoke with. Although slightly higher than a larger regional brand, I still prefer local installers. Services: installation/permit process was overall smooth. Project manager kept me updated. And they were quite reasonable with all my personal, detailed requests during installation. I did have some hiccups on installation appointment and needed reschedule. I called Bhushan, he always took care of it. Product: solar/rec panel is strong in my area and tesla powerwall3 performs as expected. No complaints so far. My tip: consider getting 2 power wall3 batteries if you have the budget and the math of value return works out. My solar often max out battery in daytime and has to export quite some to pg&e. Know-how: from my experience, the owner and sales: Bhushan is quite knowledgeable on their product and offering, this is quite distinctive from all other companies I spoke with. Bhushan answered all my technical questions and concerns, with good faith and honesty. For reference, my installation time line: Contract signed on feb 1st, system online on May 15.

REVIEW UPDATE: We had a fine experience with Nabu Energy in September 2024. Out of the several solar companies I had vetted, including Tesla, Nabu really came through for us. Actually, we had started with Tesla (due to lower pricing) but their service just starting out was so difficult and inattentive, I called off the deal. Then I discovered Nabu. What impressed me was they are engineers, not sales people, and have their own local crews. They know their technical stuff in minute detail. They listened to me and what I wanted. No sales pressure. I got top of the line REC 430W panels and a Powerwall 3. Their process from design to installation was always professional and prompt. The only slow parts were waiting on PG&E to inspect, etc. Pricing was fair, though hardly inexpensive. Thus it's great when you have a rewarding experience and are very satisfied. We highly recommend Nabu Energy. SINCE THE INSTALL: We've enjoyed a HUGE savings on our PG&E bills because of Nabu. Many bills during Spring - Fall were $0 for electricity! The Powerwall app indicates when the battery is fully charged (around noon), so I can use the excess panel energy to charge my EV in the afternoon hours. It's exactly what we wanted. Thanks Nabu!
