I had an amazing Ama Dablam expedition with NAMAS Adventure. From the first planning stages to the final days in Kathmandu, everything was extremely well organized. The logistics, communication, accommodation and food were all handled with great professionalism. On an expedition like Ama Dablam, where conditions, timing, safety, and teamwork matter so much, having a reliable operator makes a huge difference. The Sherpa team and support staff were outstanding throughout the trip. They were always focused on safety while giving us the best possible chance of success. Thanks to the excellent organization and support from NAMAS, we successfully summited both Island Peak and Ama Dablam. Ama Dablam is a serious and beautiful mountain, and this expedition will remain one of my most memorable adventures. I felt well looked after at every stage, both on and off the mountain, and I truly appreciated the professionalism and positive spirit of the whole team. Where to even begin? From the moment I began communicating with Namas about a guided trip of Alpamayo, I knew they were unlike two previous organizations I had dealt with. To many agencies, you are simply a number, another face amongst many. Not Namas. Sushmita & Bisesh continuously impressed me with their quick communication. The accommodations were boutique style not a hostel, that alone separates them. I am 43 years old and have zero desire to stay in a hostel. I want upscale with good food to match the stay. Hotel Andino was in a perfect section of time, very quiet which is extremely difficult to find in Huaraz. The sister agency Namas paired with, Andean Peaks, was beyond professional. I climbed with another organization after Alpa due to being invited by a friend and there was a huge leap between Namas & Andean Peaks & the second trip. Andean made sure I had gluten free meals and snacks readily available which is important as someone who deals with an extreme allergy intolerance to wheat. The snacks were so good I even took photos to have for later. Transportation was precise and always on time. I urge you if you are looking to climb with an agency who truly cares about your well being as a human, Namas is the way to go. Cannot wait to climb with you guys again.

There are adventure operators, and then there’s Namas Adventure. I completed the Island Peak summit and Everest Base Camp trek with them, and the difference between a good expedition and a great one often comes down to the people behind it. From my very first inquiry, Sushmita was exceptional.. responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making sure I was prepared. That quality didn’t stop at the pre-trip stage. On the ground in Kathmandu and through every checkpoint to Lukla, the Namas team was present, proactive, and flexible. When logistics hit snags, as they always do at altitude, they found workarounds without drama and without compromising the plan. I never felt like a booking number. I felt like someone they were personally accountable to. For high-stakes expeditions where the margin for error is thin and the stakes are real, that kind of operational trust is everything.
