We visited Pala for my mom's birthday, and she had a blast! The drive in on Highway 76 is pretty winding and curvy (east of interstate 15), but completely worth it. There's plenty of eateries and bars with live entertainment, even a gift shop. The casino itself is modern, clean, and has spotless restrooms. We started with a hearty breakfast and coffee at Pala Cafe, which was awesome. The staff here is super friendly and stepped in to help whenever we looked lost. A hotel guest even went out of her way to tell us how much she loved her room stay. Game-wise, they have a good variety from penny slots to high rollers, plus a great mix of classic machines. Like any casino, the slots are hit-or-miss; some pay out a bit, others are tight. Although there's a smoke-free area, the smell lingers so I did see some people wearing masks due to the smell. We loved the outdoor patio with umbrella tables for a quick breather. Overall, we had a fun experience and will definitely be back!

Had a great time there. The inside has changed dramatically since my last visit over 5 years ago. Time for them to do some upgrades maybe upgrade their pool area upgrade their little cafe by the hotel elevator. Put some money into the casino as a whole be competitive with the surrounding casinos cause there are a few in that area to compare to.
My daughter and I just stayed at the hotel this past weekend for my birthday, and I was really impressed! Everything was absolutely perfect! From the friendly valet guys, to the sweet check in agent..it was a great beginning. The resort fee is only $19.99 per day, and includes so much!! Our room overlooked the pool and outside events area, and although we had tickets to see the Elton John/Billy Joel tribute show on Friday, we could have watched it clearly from our 7th floor room! We got to watch some of their sound check from there! It was a super fun show by the way! The room was very clean, modern and well stocked. Including free bottled water and free coffee pods with a Keurig! The dining options are great, although I do wish they had a traditional Mexican restaurant...but we chose to eat in the cafe, which was so good!! The fish and chips are yummy! The staff is amazing!! Shout out to Mario, who let us hog one of his booths, to watch the first half of the world cup! The casino is clean and honestly, if you need anything or drinks, there is someone close by! Plenty of restrooms too. I love that there is a stage that is above the main bar in the middle part of the casino. For my birthday we were able to grab a table there and enjoy the music! The bands are really good and can be heard throughout the casino! We never made it out to the pool area, which looks amazing, so that is definitely on our next trip! Our trip was 5 stars and I can't wait to go back! This place Is a hidden jem!! (Don't tell anyone)😉
