Stay away from this business. I rented speakers with setup for my baby shower on 08/24. The workers came to setup and didn’t have long extension wires to run the cables creating a hazard which we addressed our concerns. They said they didn’t have more extension wires with them and didn’t offer to grab more. Red Flag # 1
They setup the music and it was glitching, they gave us instructions to not touch any buttons, we made sure we did not. But music was still glitching so they said keep the phone and wire connected and moved to a place not touching metal, no problem, done. 20 mins later, the party starts and as we’re playing music, the music stops every 15 seconds, making the party incredibly awkward and frustrating as now I have to call and troubleshoot with the owner who is gaslighting me saying I touched the mute button or texts came in which paused the music. I told him numerous times I was watching my phone, no texts or calls came in and I did not touch any buttons or mute. He proceeded to tell me he did and I argued to bring someone to fix the music. After arguing he sent someone over, who also was coached by the owner to gaslight me again. I know, because he told me before even looking that I touched the mute button which was fine. The worker adjusted the wires and music worked after an hour of my party which had started and I am working with them while my guests came in. All his workers do not like the owner and that was obvious, they agreed the music was glitching but also said that the owner probably won’t care.
Best part, when I called to see if he can refund me an hour for the speaker rental, he said I should pay him an extra hour for sending his worker. I politiely told him that I do not think that’s fair, my party was ruined and the stress of it all was all due to his company. As he is arguing, I inturrupted him and told him very calmly, that I am not going to argue with him for a refund while he talks aggressively towards me and that I will just leave a review, no problem. That is when the owner started saying no problem I will have my lawyer remove them and etc. The whole company is a joke, they make you pay in FULL before the party starts. He doesn’t take deposits and it’s VERY obvious why. He has bad business ethic, is unprofessional, and his equipment is old and unstable so he wants to make sure he gets the full amount in ZELLE to his personal account, probably so he doesn’t have to pay taxes
