Avoid at all costs. We engaged Reliance Consulting for assistance with Thai company setup and advice regarding eligibility for a .th domain. From the beginning, we were transparent that we were travelling to Thailand and wanted to meet in person. We booked accommodation in Bangkok and travelled internationally in reliance on this engagement. Despite taking payment upfront, no meaningful work was completed — no filings, no submissions, no progress, and no meeting ever occurred. Most concerning was that Reliance failed to disclose a critical fact at the outset: that a Thai company is not necessarily required to obtain a .th domain if you already hold a registered trademark. This omission fundamentally undermined the purpose of the engagement and should have been explained immediately. When we requested a refund due to the lack of substantive work, they insisted on retaining 20% as an “administrative fee” despite producing no deliverables beyond internal paperwork. This experience was a complete waste of time, money, and international travel. Proceed with extreme caution — we would not recommend this firm to any business seeking reliable or transparent professional advice.
