I went to rewind tonight not totally sure what to expect. The atmosphere was cool and nostalgic but the food was amazing. I ordered the chicken tender salad with blacked chicken which seems like a basic meal but I was actually blown away at how good it was! The teriyaki steak bites were also out of this world! I haven’t had the full menu yet, but my guess is the steak bites are the best thing on there.
I’d like to Rewind my evening and choose elsewhere for grabbing some to-go food for my family’s dinner. For the price, we were unimpressed with the quantity and most of all the quality of our meals. Got the chicken tender meal - $18 for 3 tenders and a side of fries, the $15 “Cheesy bread” appetizer, the $15 hot wings (I know getting wings to go isn’t the best judge of character) these, along with the tenders were overcooked and rubbery. Lastly, the kid’s cheeseburger & fries at $10 was by far the best bargain and the most edible item we brought home. Seems like a cool place & fun concept, the staff was nice and helpful, might have a better time dining in, ultimately - just had higher hopes for trying this place. The bill was rather hefty for something that ended up in the trash.
This place is great! Retro feel. Great staff. Food is amazing. Don’t miss this throwback gem!
