I did not know what to expect when I began taking these classes a few months ago, but I have been hooked ever since! The instructors, Waldo and Jacqui are very charismatic, hilarious and easy to follow along with. They do an excellent job of cultivating a very positive and relaxed community. The prices are reasonable and for extra value, we get video recordings of entire lessons so that we can continue to practice on our own time. It might sound intimidating at first, but there is no judgement here and everybody makes mistakes. So come try it out and have fun making mistakes while continuously improving every week!

We love SalsaKnox! My husband and I started off in their salsa/bachata bootcamp and loved it so much that we have continued through the intermediate classes! We grow so much every class and love the support from both Jacqui/Waldo and the community of dancers themselves. It has given us an amazing hobby and has increased our confidence during their Saturday/Friday socials. If you've ever had the inkling to try it out... DO IT!!! You will not regret it!

Salsa Knox is one of the best things I’ve discovered in Knoxville! I started going recently and absolutely love it. Jacqui and Waldo are amazing at what they do, and they’ve created an environment that’s welcoming, positive, and open to everyone. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced dancer, you feel comfortable, accepted, and encouraged to learn. One of the things I appreciate most is how everyone helps each other out. There’s no judgment, just great people, good energy, and a genuine willingness to help everyone improve. The dance nights are an absolute blast, and the welcoming atmosphere makes it easy to get out there, meet people, and have fun while learning something new. As someone who’s still learning, I can honestly say this has been some of the most fun I’ve had in Knoxville.
