Samuelson's Creek Pub &GrillPROVerified business?

We thought this was maybe more of asupper club because reservations are preferred. We had stopped a before and turned away because we did not have a reservation. Food was good(steak and salmon). Old fashioned from the bar very well made. But we seemed like we were being rushed by server. Got food and bill good by. We kind of wanted a dessert but just left. I would try again but my maybe only for a burger.

This is a place out of history and time. It retains a 1950s Northern Wisconsin feel. The food was just average I'm afraid to say. There was only one waitress and very few patrons. It felt very sad. Their glory days if they ever had any are long over. If they had an owner or a manager with foresight they could turn this place into an amazing restaurant if they wanted to, but they seemed content on just getting by. The salad bar was a plus and reminded me of the good old supper club days.

My husband and our friends decided to give this restaurant a try. We would never return!!! I ordered the shrimp scampi. I received five undercooked shrimp, no pasta. They were cold with a side of potatoes that also was cold. My husband ordered. A New York strip, and asked to have it cooked medium, which came out rare. Our friends ordered the ribs, which were not warm at all and very fatty. And what else do we say about the? Over all a Very Disappointing dinner.
